My name is Bill, and I bring a rare combination of academic credentials and a genuine passion for helping students succeed in math. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, an MBA, and a Master of Science in Systems Management — a background that gives me a deep, structured understanding of mathematics and the ability to break complex concepts into clear, manageable steps.
I have tutored students from kindergarten through high school and into adulthood, including students with learning disabilities. My approach is deliberate and personalized. I begin by observing a student work through a set of problems, which allows me to quickly identify not just what they're struggling with, but why. I then focus precisely on those areas of difficulty, follow up with targeted practice, and revisit the material over time until the student has truly mastered the skill — not just memorized it. I align every session with the student's school curriculum, so our work together directly translates to better grades and stronger performance on school tests.
The results speak for themselves. One of my long-term students — who has a learning disability — achieved straight A's in math and scored an outstanding 780 on the SAT Math, placing them in the top 1% of test takers nationwide. That outcome takes patience, the right approach, and a commitment to never giving up on a student.
My focus areas include elementary math through Calculus and SAT/ACT test preparation.
I believe confidence is the foundation of all math success. I help each student build that confidence through small, achievable wins that grow into genuine mastery and a real understanding of math. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a student's face light up when something finally clicks.
I work primarily online and look forward to helping you build the skills and confidence to achieve success.
