I graduated from Spelman College Summa Cum Laude with my BA in Spanish with a Teaching Certification for K-12th grade. During my time at Spelman, I lived and studied abroad in Málaga, Spain in a fully immersive Spanish program. I returned home to New Jersey and immediately taught elementary and middle school Spanish for the past couple of years. I am also currently pursuing my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership with a concentration in General Administration and Policy. I have a passion for ensuring an enjoyable, equitable, and inclusive education for all students!
I have over 5 years of individualized tutoring experience, as well as experience with specific learning needs and disabilities of all ranges. I specialize in several areas, from basic vocabulary/phrases, grammar, conversational, culture, writing, and more! I’ve taken Spanish classes since the 1st grade, all the way to AP Spanish 5 in High School. I went on to major in, successfully submit my senior capstone, and graduate in a Spanish program through my college. My love for Spanish comes from in-depth studying and comprehension of the language and I look forward to educating others on it!
