I am a retired attorney with more than 25 years of legal experience and have taught graduate and undergraduate law classes throughout my career. I developed trainings that I presented to more than 2,500 people and serve as faculty for a group that instructs government lawyers on procedure, evidence, and persuasive writing. Since retiring, I have focused my analytical and instructional skills on helping students achieve their LSAT goals.
My approach to LSAT tutoring is to break down the exam to its core concepts and make them easier to understand. In our sessions, we will focus on the key components of logical arguments, question types, rules, guidelines, and traps, to allow you to better comprehend the LSAT concepts and make it easier for you to eliminate wrong answer choices. Your instruction would be scaffolded, to allow you to progress at your own rate, with concepts reinforced through targeted practice drills to further develop and refine your techniques. The ultimate goal is to empower you to be more comfortable with the LSAT, build confidence, reduce test anxiety, and help you perform at your highest level on test day.
The LSAT approach benefits students of all levels. I have helped many students conquer the LSAT's logical reasoning and reading comprehension sections and increase their scores by 10 or more points to break into the 150s, 160s and 170s, depending on their individual circumstances. I look forward to working with you to help you achieve your LSAT goals.
