I studied Economics at Lehigh University, graduating at the top of my class and earning a full academic scholarship to pursue a Master’s in Applied Econometrics. During my graduate studies, I taught introductory Economics, lecturing three times a week. Before that, I worked for three years as a tutor and teaching assistant. My undergraduate and graduate education included rigorous mathematics and statistics courses, including advanced calculus, algebra, statistics, econometrics, and econometric software.
Since completing my Master’s, I’ve spent five years in industry—starting in KPMG’s Economic Services Department before moving to the public sector, where I supported government agencies with budgeting and macroeconomic forecasting. I currently serve as a Senior Financial Analyst at 36th Street Capital in Morristown, NJ. My last 5 years of full time work have involved advanced data science, statistics, financial forecasting, econometric modeling, and macroeconomic forecasting. Consequently, I feel confident I have the skills to mentor students in a wide range of mathematics, statistics, econometrics, and economics subject areas.
Although I enjoy my work in industry, my true passion lies in teaching. That’s why I joined Wyzant—to share my enthusiasm for Economics and Statistics with the next generation of students.
