I've logged 400+ hours of one-on-one tutoring through a private company, working primarily with high school juniors preparing for the SAT and ACT, as well as younger students (grades 4-8) for the ISEE and SSAT. My sessions blend focused content review with practical strategy and homework designed to reinforce learning between lessons. I also draw on three semesters as a paid Chemistry and Molecular Biology TA, where I led labs, graded reports and exams, and supported students through complex material in both classroom and hands-on settings.
Before tutoring full-time, I trained as a General Surgery resident, where teaching was central to my work --whether instructing medical students on physical exams and imaging or explaining diagnoses and care plans to patients and families.
