I hold a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and am currently pursuing a second Master’s in English with a concentration in Rhetoric and Composition. This academic background strengthens both my teaching practice and my ability to support students in becoming more effective and confident writers.
Over the past three years, I’ve worked closely with 20–30 students on crafting personal essays for college applications. I guide students through every stage of the process—from brainstorming and outlining to revision and polishing—helping them express their stories with clarity, authenticity, and impact. Many of these students have been accepted to competitive colleges and universities, and I take pride in helping them find their voice.
More broadly, I specialize in reading comprehension, literary analysis, and academic writing. I’ve also helped students prepare for standardized assessments like the SAT and Accuplacer, simplifying test-taking strategies into clear, actionable steps. My sessions are always tailored to the individual, grounded in mutual respect, and designed to build skills as well as confidence.
