My name is Vanshika K, and my journey to medical school has been anything but straightforward. I graduated magna cum laude from Muhlenberg College with a degree in Biochemistry and minors in Mathematics and Computer Science. Afterward, I earned my Master’s in Biomedical Sciences from Rutgers University–New Brunswick, and I’m now a second-year DO student at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. But beyond the degrees and titles, what truly shaped me was the struggle to get here—and the lessons I learned along the way.
When I was applying to medical school, I often felt lost. There was no clear roadmap, no one to turn to for advice on writing a strong personal statement, preparing for the MCAT, or navigating interviews. I remember spending countless hours researching, second-guessing, and hoping I was making the right decisions. It was a tough and isolating process. But through it all, I learned not only how to succeed, but also how valuable guidance and mentorship can be.
That’s why I’ve made it my mission to help others through this same journey. With over 10 years of tutoring experience and a background in coaching students on test-taking strategies, personal statements, and interviews, I now focus on being the resource I once needed. At Muhlenberg, I worked as a tutor and learning assistant across multiple subjects, and that passion for supporting others has only grown. Whether someone is just starting to think about a medical career or deep in the application process, I’m here to offer the clarity, encouragement, and tools they need to move forward with confidence.
