My name is Georgann and I am interested in helping elementary school students with their overall studies so that they can be more successful in school. It can be difficult for a child to struggle with their studies. Sometimes students can become frustrated and less effective over time. Just a little extra help can make the difference. I would like to have a positive impact on getting students back on track.

I love learning and school and I would like to help children who need some help early on in their education so that they can work more effectively on their own.

I have earned a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology, worked in corporations and as a business consultant. I have also done a great deal of training as a consultant, so I understand how to make content interactive and create simple explanations of topics with analogies, examples and stories. All of these techniques bring subjects to life so that the student can learn them more easily. It is also important to incorporate some fun into learning.

I recently began tutoring at an academic learning center. The focus is on targeting key skills such as communication, problem solving, math, reading and computer skills along with the program content.
