I am currently a high school student attending a regional high school, where I am enrolled in a dual enrollment program. Through this program, I have completed college-level math courses as well as business classes, which have strengthened both my analytical and problem-solving skills. I have consistently earned honor roll recognition every year and currently maintain a 4.2 GPA, with all of my math courses completed with grades above a 94. I am also a member of the National Honor Society and serve as a tutor, which reflects my academic commitment and reliability.

I have approximately five years of tutoring experience that includes both formal and informal settings. During this time, I have tutored classmates, helped siblings and cousins, and regularly assisted students with homework and concept review. I have also volunteered as a tutor through my high school as well as at an elementary school. My experience includes working with students ranging in age from five to sixteen, and I have tutored both one-on-one and in small group settings. These sessions have taken place in person as well as online, allowing me to adapt to different learning environments and student needs.

When tutoring, I begin by identifying the specific areas a student struggles with and then explain the material step by step, providing notes when necessary and reinforcing concepts through guided practice problems. I am confident in my ability to tutor these subjects because my academic performance demonstrates strong subject mastery, and my learning style emphasizes understanding why concepts work rather than memorizing steps. This approach allows me to explain material in a clear and relatable way, often helping students grasp ideas that may not have fully clicked in a traditional classroom setting.
