Graduate Student with Tutoring Experience in Math and Science

Hello! My name is Aasiya, and I graduated summa cum laude from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. I am currently a graduate student in Physician Assistant school, where I continue to build on the strong academic foundation I developed in the biological sciences.

Throughout my academic journey, I’ve taken a wide range of math and science courses and have had the opportunity to tutor students at the middle school, high school, and college levels. I’ve helped students in subjects such as algebra, statistics, SAT Math, biology, anatomy and physiology, and more. As the oldest sibling, I also became the go-to tutor at home, gaining plenty of experience helping younger students navigate middle school math and science.

What I love most about tutoring is seeing those “lightbulb moments” when a concept finally clicks for a student. Sometimes, all it takes is the right teacher to make a difficult class feel understandable. My goal as a tutor is to make learning fun, engaging, and confidence-building, so every student feels supported and capable of reaching their full potential.
