Hello!

I have 10+ years of tutoring experience in the fields of science (biology and chemistry) and mathematics (geometry/trig, Alg I/II, pre-calc). I worked with the NJ Department of Education for curriculum reform for 4 years before teaching chemistry, biology, and mathematics at a private school in NJ. I have 10+ years of tutoring experience in the fields of science (biology and chemistry) and mathematics (geometry/trig, Alg I/II, pre-calc). I worked with the NJ Department of Education for curriculum reform for 4 years before teaching chemistry, biology, and mathematics at a private school in NJ. In this capacity, I also taught SAT Prep to high school students. I had scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT (2350) and all of my 50+ students have scored 2150+.

MCAT:
I scored in the 99th percentile on the MCAT with perfect scores in CARS and Psych/Social. I worked with Kaplan and Altius to help them develop their curricula and also as an instructor before moving into private MCAT tutoring at the most reputable private MCAT tutoring company in Manhattan. My students have all increased their scores substantially, many achieving 515+ and some even reaching 520+.

Fabulous tutor!

I would highly recommend Ashmi, she is responsible, patient and connects well with her students. My daughter actually looked forward to the tutoring sessions and had all her work done without any procrastinating. Ashmi was well prepared for each session and planned and adjusted her teaching according to my daughters needs. Not only is she intelligent but a great person as well! Help with MCAT CARS section

Ashmi helped me walk through a CARS passage while explaining her logic. She also helped me understand the patterns in my own thinking and gave me tips for cutting down my timing and answering questions more efficiently. Her advice helped me to alter my approach, and I was able to improve my CARS score and increase my confidence after working with her. Her advice also helped me to cut down on my time taken per passage. I would highly recommend her if you need advice on improving your CARS strategy and score on the MCAT.
