Hello, everyone! My name is Lou, and I am currently a Fourth Year Applied Math Major at Rochester Institute of Technology. I have been on Wyzant for over 2 years, and have over 700 hours of experience tutoring a wide variety of math at all levels. I made the Dean's List each of my first 6 semesters of college, received a 780 on the SAT Math, and was the Valedictorian of my high school graduating class of 170 students.

Hello, everyone! My name is Lou, and I am currently a Fourth Year Applied Math Major at Rochester Institute of Technology. I have been on Wyzant for over 2 years, and have over 700 hours of experience tutoring a wide variety of math at all levels. I made the Dean's List each of my first 6 semesters of college, received a 780 on the SAT Math, and was the Valedictorian of my high school graduating class of 170 students.

I have experience tutoring in areas ranging from standard high school math courses (Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calc) to high-level college courses (Calculus, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Statistics). I am also very experienced with AP and NYS Regents prep, and I am able to help students both master concepts and apply what they know to answer specific styles of problems that these standardized exams will frequently ask.

I did not take the Physics or US History Exams due to COVID but ended the year with grades of 98 and 95 in those classes. I have hundreds of hours of experience tutoring Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2, and I have also helped students prepare for Living Environment, Earth Science, English, and US History.

Lou is an amazing tutor. He was able to prepare my child for a State test with consistent tutoring sessions over the course of a month. What a fantastic turnaround my daughter had this year in math

We used a few different math tutors over the years. My daughter HATED math, like fathers like daughter. I could not help her at a certain point. When we were lucky enough to find Lou, my daughter took to his teacher style immediately. My wife, my daughter and myself could not be happier, nothing but A’s and A+ this year. Lou is very easy going, and is calm and cool, and that keeps my Daughter calm and cool. he keeps us updated and in the loop. I HIGHLY recommend Lou if your child is having difficulty with math.
