I am an experienced professional in the areas of the Fire Service, Emergency Medical Services and Emergency Management. I have multiple years exposure to these particular fields with a combination of experience, education and certifications.

I have held a mix of roles from entry level to supervisory level encompassing both functional responsibilities at the technical level to teaching and management at the supervisory level.

I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Fire Administration and an Associates of Applied Science in Fire Science from Columbia Southern University along with a Professional Development Certificate from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

I have the following certifications by the National Board on Fire Service Professionals Qualifications (Pro board): Firefighter I & II, Fire Officer I, II, & III, Fire Instructor II, Hazardous Materials Awareness, Hazardous Materials Operations, Hazardous Materials Operations with Personal Protective Equipment Competency, Hazardous Materials Operations with Product Control Mission Specific Competency.

I am a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician and certified by the New Jersey Department of Health as an Emergency Medical Technician. And I am also certified by New Jersey Division of Fire Safety for Firefighter I & II, Incident Management Level I, II & III, Fire Officer Level I, Fire & Emergency Services Instructor Level II, Drill Ground Instructor and Hazardous Materials Level I & II.

Lastly, I am certified by the National Fire Academy and the New Jersey Division of Fire Safety as an Incident Command System (ICS) 200, 300 & 400 instructor.

I have also has been awarded associate member status with the Institute of Fire Engineers, and is a member of the International Association of Emergency Managers, the International Society of Fire Service Instructors, the American College of Emergency Physicians the Emergency Medicine Resident's Association and National Eagle Scout Association.
