Hi! I'm Aanya, and I recently graduated from the IB Diploma Programme with a 38/45 score after completing six IB courses, four AP courses, and the digital SAT. As someone who just finished these classes and exams, I understand not only the content but also the most effective study strategies, common mistakes, and the current expectations students face. I earned a perfect 800 on the SAT Math section and was selected as an official SAT Math tutor for Schoolhouse, where I have helped students prepare for the digital SAT. Because I took the redesigned digital SAT myself, I have firsthand insight into the adaptive format, pacing, and question styles that students encounter today.

Teaching has been a major part of my life for over three years. I've worked with more than 60 students through private tutoring, local libraries, and as a math instructor at Eye Level, where I taught over 40 elementary students. Working with students of different ages and learning styles has taught me that there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to fit their needs, whether that means breaking difficult concepts into smaller steps, finding new ways to explain a topic, or challenging students who are ready to move ahead.

My goal is to make tutoring both effective and encouraging. I want students to leave each lesson understanding why an answer works, not just how to get it. Building confidence is just as important as improving grades, and I enjoy helping students reach the point where they can solve problems independently. Whether we're working on elementary math, advanced coursework, or standardized test preparation, I strive to create lessons that are engaging, personalized, and focused on long-term success.
