Hi, I am a Certified Wilson Reading Systems Level 1 Dyslexia Practitioner and as well as Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist (C-SLDT) certified by CERI/International Dyslexia Association. I have over 300 plus hours tutoring on Wyzant.com in Orton-Gillingham instruction, phonics and the Wilson Reading System. I am very adept to teaching online have many resources to work with. I have over 90 five star ratings. I am very patient and kind and have worked with many different children with many different learning challenges such as ADHD, autism, apraxia and executive functioning issues.

As part of the Wilson Reading System (WRS) curriculum, I focus on teaching high frequency words, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension skills. In addition to the WRS curriculum, I use GetEpic.com and Reading A to Z reading programs to share additional decodable stories and level readers with my students. As per WRS fidelity practices, each tutoring session is systematically and explicitly taught to meet each student's learning needs, and each lesson plan is designed for the needs of that student.

I have my BA degree from Stockton University, Pomona, NJ. I completed my post-baccalaureate program at Kean University, Elizabeth, NJ where I received by P-3 and K-6 Teaching Certifications. I have worked 12 years in the NJ Public School System as an educator and over 6 years as a tutor both in person and online.
