I have a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Costume Technology, with many classes under my belt in art history and visual analysis. I specialize in costume history, but can easily provide tutoring for a wide variety of art historical subjects.

As a seamstress with 10+ years of professional experience and a degree in costume technology, I have plenty of experience with needlework and embellishment techniques. My primary areas of expertise would be in embroidery, cross-stitch, and beading. I feel confident giving lessons to anyone looking to begin needlework or take their skills to a more professional level.

I began sewing at a professional level from a young age, taking lessons from a couture bridal seamstress. I am a recent graduate of a top theatrical sewing program where I learned many modern and historical sewing techniques. I am happy to teach anyone from a beginner sewer to advanced students looking for techniques such as patternmaking or draping.
