My passion for math began early through the Kumon Math Program, which I successfully completed after years of dedicated study. After finishing the program, I continued at Kumon as a math instructor, where I worked with elementary and middle school students to strengthen their mathematical foundations and develop effective problem-solving skills. In addition, I have tutored high school students in AP Statistics, helping them prepare for exams, improve their grades, and gain confidence in the subject. These experiences have taught me how to explain concepts in multiple ways and tailor my lessons to each student's individual learning style.
Academically, I have maintained a 4.0 unweighted GPA while taking a rigorous schedule that includes AP Calculus AB, AP Statistics, AP Precalculus, and other advanced mathematics courses. I also earned a perfect 800 on the SAT Math section, giving me firsthand experience with the strategies and techniques needed to excel on standardized tests. During each tutoring session, I focus on building true understanding through step-by-step explanations, guided practice, and problem-solving techniques that students can apply independently. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades and test scores but also to help them develop lasting confidence in their mathematical abilities.
