I am eighteen years old, and currently attending Fairleigh Dickinson University to pursue a career in criminology, with a minor in sports management. I have been playing softball for fourteen years and counting, and I am a catcher, as well as a third baseman. However, I have knowledge as a utility player. I started off playing when I was four years old, and went to clinics several times a week. I played on travel teams from the age of 7-17, and I am currently catching for a recovering D1 pitcher as she rehabilitates. I will be playing softball at FDU in the Spring of 2017. In addition, I started as the varsity catcher all four years of high school and batting 1st or 4th in the lineup with a batting average consecutively over 500.
I tutored and instructed youth players in the travel program I participated in, as well as the middle school team near my local high school. I am very passionate about the sport, and have a lot of knowledge beyond my years, all thanks to my wonderful coaches. I am eager and excited to pass on my knowledge to young players that are as passionate about softball as I am. I understand the sport, and I understand what it was like growing up and going to clinics and instructors, so I am more than willing to make the lessons exciting, fun, but still educational.
I'm currently a college student, but have availability during the weekdays everyday after 2:00 p.m., and weekends are completely free. I'm looking forward to getting the chance to work with you!
