I recently earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rutgers University, where I maintained a 3.6 GPA and completed rigorous coursework in data structures, algorithms, artificial intelligence, computer architecture, software methodology, and computer security. My academic background gave me a strong foundation in both theoretical problem solving and practical programming, and I regularly applied these concepts through projects involving Python, Java, machine learning, mobile development, and data analysis.
I currently work as an AI and coding instructor, where I design and teach original lessons in programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning for students with varying skill levels. My teaching experience includes working with students one-on-one and in small group settings, adapting my explanations based on each student’s background and learning style. I focus on breaking down complex topics into manageable steps, reinforcing core concepts through examples, and helping students build confidence in their problem-solving abilities rather than memorizing solutions.
In addition to formal teaching, I have experience mentoring students through coding projects and academic coursework, including introductory programming, data structures, and applied computer science topics. I emphasize patience, clear communication, and active engagement during lessons, making sure students understand both how and why solutions work. My goal as a tutor is to help students develop a strong conceptual foundation that supports long-term success in their classes and future technical work.
