I hold a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's in Teaching K–12, along with certifications in both English as a Second Language (ESL) and Special Education. Currently, I’m further enriching my educational journey by pursuing a second Master’s degree in Spanish. As a proud native Spanish speaker with strong cultural roots in Peru, I bring both linguistic expertise and cultural insight to my teaching. I have tutored on and off for students ranging from 6 years old to 17 years old since 2016. I specialize in reading and writing but have tutored Spanish and Study Skills a few times.

For the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching English (Grades 9–12) and Spanish (Levels 1–2) in the Bergen County public school system. My classroom experience spans a wide range of learners, and I specialize in supporting students who thrive best with individualized instruction. I take pride in designing lessons that are personalized, engaging, and aligned with each student's unique learning style and goals.

One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching, for me, is building strong, trusting relationships with my students. I believe that learning flourishes in an environment where students feel understood, encouraged, and supported. That’s why I strive to create a safe and collaborative space where students feel empowered to ask questions, take risks, and grow in confidence.

I also deeply value open communication with parents and guardians.
