I love to learn and love to teach. Throughout my nursing career - I have worked in a variety of clinical settings which has provided me with a wealth of knowledge and expertise. My teaching experience includes working as a Nursing Instructor in which my role was to help prepare nursing students for their clinical experiences, lecture, counsel and test preparation. In the hospital, I was recruited by Administration for a Clinical Instructor position because of my educational background, knowledge, expertise and strong interpersonal and communication skills. I believe in trying to make students at ease, confident and simplify difficult concepts.
RN 30 years experience, with a Master's Degree in teaching/management from Columbia University. Certified in BLS, ACLS,PALS, IV Therapy, Critical Care and formally In Rehabilitation and Burn Life Support. Nursing instructor who was pivotal in helping students pass NCLEX with a success of 100% pass rate during my time at school. A strong understanding that no student is alike and has different strengths and weaknesses so I am open minded and flexible in my teaching techniques .
