I have an easygoing, approachable personality and love making science come alive for students. I believe that if you can relate the concepts you are learning to your own life they are easier to understand. My lessons are personalized for each of my students and often include short video demonstrations of chemical reactions to help illustrate concepts being taught.

Great first session!
My daughter tried 2 other chemistry tutors before we found Lisa. The first session went very well today. Lisa had a great way of helping my daughter understand. We will for sure be using Lisa again!

She is very patient and helpful. She helped my daughter on classifying types of reactions and balancing equations. She helped her with some pointers in balancing equations so that the numbers aren’t so large to work with. Her confidence was up after just one lesson with her. And after several lessons she is super confident and understanding chemistry. We have more scheduled.
