Hello Students and Guardians,

I hope this message finds you in good spirits! I would like to tell you a little bit of information about myself so that you can get to know me better. Firstly, I am a teacher and currently teach first grade students how to become stars and excel in their academics in a exciting way. My classroom has a Hollywood theme so when my students walk into the room every day they walk on a red carpet to enhance feeling like a star! Throughout the year I direct the stars in the right direction to see their stardom come to life. I would love to be able to do that with you (your child) because I believe every student is a star and just needs that extra push to find what they can excel in. Therefore my motto is to shoot for the stars at all times!
More importantly, I've been a teacher for the past 12 years. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th and now 1st grade students. In addition, every year I teach the afterschool program to assist students with learning how to become better test takers and to teach them the foundation of various skills needed for the state assessment. Before teaching I worked for Oxford Learning Center as the Assistant Director and the Education Coordinator for 2 years. I would meet with parents, administer a diagnostic test to evaluate exactly what grade level the student is on, develop an individual curriculum for each student, and oh course I wanted to teach so I taught the little ones that were preparing for Kindergarten.
