I have been teaching and tutoring English, ESL and writing since 2009 at the City University of New York and more recently at Columbia University. I have worked mostly with undergraduate and graduate students but have occasionally worked with older high schoolers.

I have a master's in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and speak several languages myself, including Spanish, Turkish, Persian, and French.

I help students with anything that involves writing: school assignments, applications, dissertations, articles being written for publication. I also teach English as a second language with attention to all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

I offer lessons in person at Columbia University's Morningside campus, or online.
