I am a May 2020 graduate of CUNY school of Law. I currently am am attorney for a non-profit organization. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in International Relations with minors in French and African Studies. Throughout my educational career, I have also had a strong skill set when it comes to various forms of writing. I am a May 2020 graduate of CUNY school of Law. I currently am am attorney for a non-profit organization. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in International Relations with minors in French and African Studies. Throughout my educational career, I have also had a strong skill set when it comes to various forms of writing. Additionally, I have personally gone through many application processes for colleges, law schools, and scholarships. I believe that can assist with prepare application packets (including but not limited to resume drafting and personal statements).

I believe that every student has potential, but I recognize that many fail to see that in each student. As a tutor, I play a supportive role that empowers the student. I do not want them to feel like they are being directed the whole time. The goal is for them to come out of a session feeling better about doing things on their own.

Before becoming a private tutor with Wyzant, I have worked as a tutor with the student athlete tutoring program at Michigan state and a variety of volunteer tutor opportunities with refugees and immigrant as well as family and friends. The best thing I've seen through my tutoring so far is how my students are motivated to stay on top of their coursework and/or essays. It is always great to see a student's reaction when they finally grasp a concept or they finish an essay.

I know the application process is not easy, and I would love to assist with everything from resume writing to essay writing.
