I am currently pursuing my Master of Engineering in Financial Engineering at Cornell University, after earning dual undergraduate degrees in Data Science and Information Systems. My academic training has provided me with strong foundations in mathematics, statistics, and writing, and I am passionate about sharing that knowledge with students of all backgrounds.

Over the past several years, I have gained extensive tutoring and teaching experience in both the U.S. and abroad. I have worked one-on-one and in small groups with high school and college students, supporting them in subjects such as algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics. As a writing tutor, I have also guided students in improving grammar, organization, and essay structure, with particular success in helping international students strengthen their academic English. My teaching approach is highly personalized: I adapt my methods to match each student’s learning style, whether that means using real-world applications, visual aids, or step-by-step breakdowns.

I have taught learners ranging from middle school through college level, both online and in-person. Many of my students have improved their grades significantly, with math students increasing by a full letter grade and writing students producing more confident, polished essays. I believe in creating a supportive, encouraging environment where students can ask questions freely, build problem-solving skills, and gain confidence in their own abilities.

My goal as a tutor is not only to help students excel in their coursework but also to equip them with the tools to think critically, communicate clearly, and approach challenges with confidence. I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals.
