SAT English help from an experienced tutor who created the test

I love helping students get comfortable with the SAT verbal (Reading and Writing) test. Since I worked for over a decade at Educational Testing Service *writing* the test, I have keen insights into how you can best prepare for the test. Before working at ETS, I was an award-winning instructor of English at Rutgers University for 15 years.

In my tutoring I combine my love of teaching and nurturing young people with my expertise in standardized tests. I tutor for the SAT or ACT English tests.

I have Masters degrees in English and French. I won an award for outstanding teaching at Rutgers University, and was especially noticed for my creativity as an instructor.

The SAT and ACT can be very intimidating, especially to students who may have issues with reading or attention. I enjoy helping all of my young clients to get more confident about the tests. I pride myself on developing a strong positive rapport with each of the students I work with.
