Hey! I’m Liz, a private tutor with over five years of experience, specializing in high school, college, and graduate school essay writing, as well as general reading comprehension and writing skills. If you’re looking for help, I might just be your girl—but first, here are some quick facts about me and my experience.

I attended an arts-focused magnet high school, where I studied film and radio, and then graduated from Middlebury College, majoring in Sociology and Spanish. I’ll be heading to Columbia Law School in the fall.

Students I’ve worked with on admissions essay writing have been accepted to and/or currently attend a diverse range of top-ranked and Ivy League undergraduate universities, specialized programs, and graduate institutions.

I’m based in central New Jersey at the moment, but I can (and often prefer to) do virtual sessions.

I think my success as an English tutor can be attributed to my creative, comprehensive, and calm approach to what’s so often a stressful, difficult process for students. It also helps that I just genuinely love reading, writing, and teaching.

This past year, I self-studied for the LSAT (scoring a 173) as a full-time student with two jobs, applied to JD programs while studying abroad during my last semester of college, and ultimately received multiple T-14 acceptances.

Because I firmly believe that it’s unnecessary to spend thousands of dollars on tutoring or counseling when it comes to the law school admissions process, I’ve compiled what I’ve learned via my personal experience—all the resources, tricks, and tips re: both the test and applications—into an affordable, straightforward package.
