Hi there! My name is Arjun and I would love to be your tutor. I graduated from Princeton University in 2015 (B.A., History/Jazz Studies) and have worked as an SAT/ACT tutor and professional touring musician for the last decade.
My background in the music industry is wide-ranging. As a performer, I have been playing as the main drummer for major artist French Kiwi Juice, on global tours spanning 5 continents and 70+ shows. I also lead my own band Trap Rabbit, and I work as an engineer/producer and administrator in recording studios throughout the Philadelphia/NJ area. I’ve also worked in radio and have extensive experience in music curation, music database management, audio editing and sound design, and music licensing. My team and I have worked on music for podcasts, artists, and films with clients that include The Meateater Network and members of Snarky Puppy. My other credits include Eric Bazilian (of The Hooters), Kyle Sparkman, Kuf Knotz, and Mitamu, among many others.
I pride myself in being able to connect with my students and teach them the fundamentals of being a great musician. While my primary instrument is drums, I also teach music production using today's most popular DAWs - Logic Pro, Ableton, and Pro Tools.
In addition to teaching music, I am a very adept tutor in English, Writing, and all SAT and ACT subjects. I worked with Inspirica Tutoring for two years before taking private students.
