I have a strong passion for helping young students succeed in math and feel confident in their learning journey. I hold a degree in Health Service Management with a Pre-med focus and have a strong academic background in foundational math, problem-solving, and critical thinking. While I didn’t major in education, I’ve spent the past few years gaining meaningful experience working with children through volunteer programs, peer tutoring, and helping younger family members with homework. These experiences helped me develop patience, creativity, and effective communication skills when working with young learners.
I’ve tutored students ages 6–12 in subjects like basic arithmetic, multiplication and division, fractions, word problems, and test prep. My approach is hands-on and engaging—I often use visual aids, interactive games, and real-world examples to make abstract math concepts easier to understand. I tailor each lesson to the student’s pace and learning style, making sure they feel supported and confident every step of the way. I focus not just on getting the right answers, but on building long-term math skills and a positive mindset toward learning.
Whether your child is struggling or simply needs extra practice, I am here to make math less intimidating and more fun. I believe that every child can succeed with the right support, and I’m committed to creating a learning environment that is kind, encouraging, and customized to their needs.
