My tutoring approach is grounded in evidence-based instruction and the science of how the brain learns. I specialize in reading intervention (phonics, decoding, fluency, and comprehension), study skills, math instruction through Algebra 2, and learning strategies that help students become confident, independent learners. I have extensive experience working with students receiving RTI/MTSS support, students with IEPs, and students who need structured, explicit instruction tailored to their learning needs.
I have taught in a variety of settings, including whole-class instruction, small-group intervention, and one-on-one tutoring both in person and virtually. I work with students in grades K–12 and partner closely with families by explaining assessment data clearly and providing practical strategies they can use at home. My goal is to help students make meaningful progress while building skills that last beyond tutoring sessions.
