Lauren takes extra time to review course work and teacher expectations to help drive her tutoring lessons. She is patient and writes things out clearly for later review as well. My son used her in the past for easier Math and went to her again for harder Math. He was successful both times with her guidance and help.

Outstanding Tutor
10/11/13 - My daughter has been extremely fortunate to be tutored by Lauren D. My daughter was starting Algebra and was struggling, having received a grade of C in her most recent quiz & test. I sought out Lauren who spent two sessions with my daughter. She then received a 92% on a quiz after those two sessions. The they had another session, and then my daughter had to take a big test. She received 100% on the test - one of only 2 students in a class of 25 to receive such a score. What more is there to say? As a result of these sessions with Lauren, my daughter became unconfused and was able to grasp the subject matter. This is due in no small part to Lauren's knowledge and patience. She is very intelligent and possesses the ability to present complex ideas and information in terms that are understandable. I highly recommend this tutor, you will not be disappointed! 11/22/13 (update) - As further testament to Lauren's tremendous tutoring/teaching skills, my daughter (who hates - or rather hated - math) just received her grade for the first term - 'A'. She was struggling with a 'C ' when Lauren began. Amazing what a good instructor can bring out in a child. 2/28/14 (update) - My daughter has now received her first two marking period grades. She received an "A" in both marking periods. Further proof of Lauren's tremendous teaching ability. 6/30/14 (update) - Again, I have to give kudos to this tutor. Not to belabor the point, but my daughter, who was struggling mightily prior to being tutored by Lauren, received a 96/100 on her final quarterly. Her huge success for the year is a testament to this tutor's teaching abilities - abilities I plan to utilize in the fall semester as my daughter enters high school and is eligible for honors math thanks to Lauren.
