Hi! My name is Jaritza, and I am a preschool teacher and camp director with over 5 years of experience working with young children in both classroom and one-on-one settings. I have a strong background in early childhood education and am currently working toward my Master’s degree in Elementary Education. I specialize in helping young learners build strong foundations in reading, writing, and language development. I am also bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows me to support students in both languages and provide Spanish instruction for beginners.
In my teaching, I focus on phonics, letter recognition, early reading, and writing skills. I believe that children learn best through engaging, hands-on experiences, so I incorporate games, visuals, and interactive activities into my sessions. I adapt my teaching style based on each child’s needs and learning pace to ensure they feel confident and successful. I have experience working with children ages 3–7 and understand how to make learning both effective and enjoyable.
My goal is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and excited to learn. I am patient, reliable, and passionate about helping children grow academically and emotionally.
