I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics at Rutgers University, where I have completed rigorous coursework in Data Structures, Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence, Linear Algebra, Combinatorics, and Systems Programming. My academic foundation is deeply rooted in analytical thinking and mathematical reasoning. I scored a 790 out of 800 on the SAT Math section, reflecting strong mastery of high school mathematics and standardized test performance. With advanced college-level math training, I am able not only to solve complex problems, but to clearly explain the “why” behind each concept so students develop true understanding.

I have over two years of tutoring experience working with middle school, high school, and early college students in both one-on-one and small group settings. Through platforms such as Varsity Tutors and iD Tech, I have taught Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Discrete Mathematics, SAT Math preparation, Python, and Java. I have worked with more than 30 students and helped them improve their test scores by an average of 15 percent. My experience includes structured test prep sessions, long-term academic support, homework guidance, and enrichment lessons for advanced learners.

My teaching approach is personalized, interactive, and results-driven. I break down difficult topics into clear, manageable steps and adapt my explanations to each student’s learning style. I emphasize pattern recognition, structured problem-solving frameworks, and strategic test-taking techniques. Especially for exams like the SAT. Rather than simply reviewing answers, I focus on helping students think independently and build confidence. My goal is to ensure students leave each session not only understanding the material, but feeling empowered and capable of tackling new challenges on their own.
