Hi, I’m Jade, an experienced math and statistics tutor passionate about helping students build confidence and understanding in mathematics. I earned my degree in Mathematics from the University of Chicago in December 2020, graduating with a 3.8 GPA. I was awarded the Dean’s List honor for three consecutive years due to my high academic performance. While at the University of Chicago, I contributed to a statistical analysis project on social trends, utilizing regression models to identify patterns in demographic data. My studies focused on statistics and advanced mathematics, and I have since applied my expertise to both tutoring and independent statistical analysis

I have four years of experience tutoring at the college level, specializing in introductory arithmetic, algebra, and statistics. I have worked with students of all ages—from middle schoolers to adults returning to school—helping them overcome math anxiety and develop problem-solving skills. One of my most memorable tutoring experiences was working with a student who became so frustrated with Algebra 2, but through patience and persistence, we worked together week after week, and he ultimately passed his course and moved on to a university.
