Hi, I'm Youssef! My journey into teaching stems from a profound passion for mathematics and education that has been a part of me since high school. It was during those years that I first discovered my love for both of them. This inspired me to pursue a Bachelors in Mathematics Secondary Education with a specialization in Urban Education. This unique combination not only fortified my mathematical knowledge but also equipped me with the pedagogical skills needed to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.

Since 2020, I've had the privilege of remotely tutoring nearly a hundred students, specializing in middle and high school levels. My experience extends beyond one-on-one tutoring sessions; I've also spent a year teaching at multiple New Jersey middle and high schools. These experiences have provided me with valuable insights into the varying educational and social backgrounds of students. My tutoring approach centers on building a strong foundation and fostering a deep understanding of the subject matter. In this vein, I've meticulously crafted curricula for subjects such as Algebra 2 and Calculus, ensuring that each student grasps the fundamentals before progressing further.

As I continue to pursue a Masters of Arts in Teaching, I am unwavering in my commitment to empowering students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. My journey has never been just a career choice; it's a lifelong mission to instill a love for mathematics and learning in every student I encounter, while equipping them with the tools they need to thrive in a constantly evolving academic landscape.
