Hi, my name is Cael, and I’m a Physics major at The College of New Jersey with a specialization in Astronomy. My program requires a high level of proficiency in math and science. In the math department, I have experience in Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Calculus, and pretty much anything else you would expect I’ve come across. In science, I have experience in Chemistry, Biology, Physics I, Astronomy, Physics II (Electricity & Magnetism), Biophysics, and Environmental Science, among others. I also have coding experience, with moderate proficiency in Python and beginner-level experience in Java. Beyond STEM subjects, I have a strong passion for history and have taken both AP U.S. History 1 and 2. I scored a 1220 on my SAT, which placed me in the top 11% of test takers for that administration. While not a perfect score, it reflects my strong academic foundation and helped me gain admission into a wide range of colleges.

I have both tutored and been tutored by students my age many times throughout my academic career, which has allowed me to sit on both sides of the table. Through these experiences, I’ve learned that no two people learn the same way and that adaptability is one of the most important traits a tutor can have. As a tutor, I do my best to adjust my teaching style to fit each student’s needs. While we work together, I focus on learning what works best for you and finding ways to make the learning process clearer, easier, and more efficient.

My experience as a student has also helped me learn how to break down difficult concepts into smaller, more manageable pieces. Because I’ve taken many of the next-level courses, I understand which topics tend to cause the most confusion and which ideas are especially important to master. This allows me to emphasize the concepts that truly matter, helping students build a strong foundation and long-term understanding.

Reliable, Patient and Knowledgeable Tutor!

We have had such a wonderful experience with Cael as my son’s math tutor. From the very first session, he was patient, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable. He uses clear explanations and visuals that make challenging concepts much easier to understand. What truly impressed me was how he checked for understanding by asking my son to explain how he got his answers. That extra step helped Cael see how my child processes information and allowed him to adjust his teaching style accordingly. I also loved that he had my son “teach it back” to him, which reinforced the lesson and built his confidence. My son genuinely enjoys his sessions and is excited for each upcoming lesson. Cael is professional, punctual, and truly dedicated to his student'ssuccess. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and effective math tutor.
