Seetha is a mission-driven leader with deep expertise in the Financial Services industry across capital markets, wealth and investment management businesses. Over 15+ years in large global banks, Seetha has delivered high impact solutions that drive business growth. She is now looking to bring her experience and passion for education, mentorship, and strategic leadership to the education sector.
Most recently serving as Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo, Seetha established a robust framework for managing climate and reputation risks within the Wealth & Investment Management division, which manages over $2 trillion in assets under management. Before her role at Wells Fargo, Seetha held several senior positions at UBS, where she led risk governance for the U.S. Wealth Management business and worked closely with regulators to safeguard the organization’s reputation. Seetha originally began her career in the industry as a C/C++, Unix programmer developing award-winning solutions for one of the earliest trading platforms, DLJdirect.com. Throughout her career, she has designed and led numerous training and engagement sessions.
Seetha holds a bachelor’s in mathematics from the University of Madras, Master’s in Computer applications from Madurai Kamaraj University and an M. B. A. from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. As a teaching assistant, she has taught decision modelling for the undergraduate program at the Kelley School of
Business. She has completed additional studies in Journalism at University of California at Berkeley.
Seetha serves on the board of Indiana University Alumni Association Metro NY Chapter. She is an active volunteer at North Jersey Masters running club and supports new runners as they prepare for their first race.
As a singer in the Battery Park City Adult Chorus, Seetha has performed at numerous venues including the
Tribeca Film Festival, senior homes, women’s shelters, and has released an album in collaboration with a local music band.
