I am a current first-year student at Northwestern University and received my high school degree from Glen Ridge High School in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. During high school, I was a member of the Math Honor Society, Computer Science Honor Society, and French Honor Society. In each of these clubs, I tutored over ten students throughout my four years of high school, both over Zoom and in-person. I was also a private tutor to two children in my hometown French language for a year. I have experience in both paid and volunteer tutoring. I also was a Peer Leader during my senior year, in which I tutored children with learning difficulties every week for an academic year. I have experience tutoring children in elementary school, middle school, and freshmen and sophomores in high school. Most of my experience has been one-on-one and volunteer-based, however, I was responsible for teaching a class of thirteen middle schoolers about the transition from middle to high school as a senior. I took 11 AP classes in high school and enjoyed each of them thoroughly. I love teaching all kids, and as a student myself, have developed a variety of strategies that help me succeed in my classes.
