I am also a Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner. I am certified to teach the Wilson reading program and trained in Orton Gillingham. I specialize in teaching children with reading and writing difficulties. I use strategies and curriculum from Wilson Reading and Orton Gillingham to strengthen my students’ fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary skills.
In my lessons, I incorporate multi-sensory strategies including finger tapping to sound out words, arm tapping, writing of words and sounds in sand, and building of words with letter tiles.
