I am a certified elementary and special education teacher with several years of classroom experience supporting students in reading, writing, and math. I specialize in working with kindergarten and first-grade learners, helping them build strong foundational skills in phonics, early literacy, and number sense. I also work with students up to third grade and understand how to support them as academic expectations increase and skills become more complex.
In my classroom, I work with children of varying abilities, including students who receive special education services, students who are performing grade level, and those who simply need extra one-on-one time to feel confident. I regularly use strategies such as explicit instruction, guided practice, and scaffolded learning to help students grasp difficult concepts.
