My daughter has been working with John for the past year. He first helped her with the biology SAT prep and she received a very good (almost maximal) score. Over the last few months, John has been very helpful with physics. A big advantage working with John is that he is specialized in several scientific areas. He is a great teacher, he always responds very quickly and is flexible with the schedule. The online lessons are great too so I don't have to drive my daughter to a tutor and sometimes she may have an "emergency" extra help at 10 PM a night before the test. I highly recommend John as a tutor.

John P. Is a great tutor. My daughter had a lot of questions before a big test, after only one hour she felt happy, relieved, and prepared for a test. John was nice, pleasant and very knowledgeable.

John was very knowledgeable about the material and I liked the use of the white board and covered material that I have not learned in class yet. I was able to easily understand the material. I had excellent first lesson.

John is a great tutor. He is excellent in teaching statistics and was really helpful in guiding me through the statistical analyses of my PhD study. I will continue working with John and I highly recommend him.

After only having one session with John I feel confident that he will be able to help me achieve my goals and am looking forward to working with him.

I am taking inferential statistics and was lost! john really helped me understand the material. He was super nice and knowledgeable. Thank you John!

I needed to pass my math praxis to obtain an out of state certification. I had trouble with high school math even in high school and lacked the confidence I needed in order to be successful when test taking. I tried studying on my own with no avail. John is by far the best tutor I have ever had. He is patient and never made me feel that any question I had was silly. He explained concepts in ways that made it stick and I was able to pass my test! He provided confidence when I barely had any in myself. John was flexible and able to work with my hectic schedule. I cannot recommend John enough.

My tutoring experience was great. My tutor, John P. was definitely a big help. He helped greatly with strategies on how to approach each question as well as a study schedule to help me prepare for the Test. I am very glad I found him.

Congratulations on your acceptance into a very prestigious university!

My son was having some problems in BC AP Calculus earlier this year. We used John to tutor my son with several sessions reviewing some of the complex problems with him. My son currently has an A average in that class and will be attending Yale this fall. Great work John.

Congratulations on your acceptance into Yale University!

I really liked my tutor John. I got an A+ in statistics! John really knew his stuff and also made it interesting to learn. He's a math genius!

Very good tutor, helped me clearly understand the material! Very helpful and kind! Highly recommend tutor for high level college students statistics.

In only a couple of sessions, my son has benefited from his time with John. Not only is John extremely knowledgeable about calculus and chemistry, but he has helped my son take a step back from the mechanics to see the bigger picture. He has a wonderful demeanor. He's patient, and clearly takes his role seriously.

John is an excellent tutor. He's helping my daughter with Calculus BC. He is very patient in his teaching. He teaches his topics starting with its foundations and then working his way up. This helps build a strong base for complicated topics and problem solving. Also he teaches the strategic steps needed in solving complicated problems. This has boosted my child's confidence and makes her enjoy this course. I highly recommend him to any parent seeking a very good math tutor.

Congratulations on your acceptance into Brown University!

My son met with John on a Thursday to review Calculus for an upcoming test. He felt the session was very productive, and scheduled another session for the following Tuesday. John obviously did not note the 2nd session in his appointments, because he was a no show. When my son tried to contact him, he was MIA. It was very disappointing, as my son was unable to coordinate another session before he returned to school. John made no attempt to accommodate him, knowing he was on a tight schedule. Though only a student, his time is also valuable, and he sat waiting for John to show for over 45 minutes.

My son is in 11th grade and John is tutoring him in Math and Physics. John is very patient and has done a tremendous job at teaching my son concepts that he previously struggled to understand. He presents the material in a way that my son can grasp and then master. My son is actually looking forward to his mid-term exams thanks to John!

John is a great tutor and is very patient with me. He teaches me math very simply so I can also understand easily. I am sure that I will improve much on my math skills.

Congratulations on your acceptance into a prestigious high school!

I am really happy that my son is doing well now in his Algebra and Geometry. John is a professional, punctual and knowledgeable teacher. I strongly recommend John to any person.

John P tutored me for Statistics 2. He was a great tutor that worked with my timezone. I currently work in Afghanistan, and he would tutor me at 5:30 A.M. his time, which I truly appreciated. He explained the work very well and used his whiteboard which was a tremendous help. He is very easy to talk to and takes the time to explain a problem if I did not understand it. I would highly recommend him to anyone and I would use him again if I need a tutor in the future.

Thank you, John!

My daughter was basically trying to learn AP Calculus BC on her own. She worked hard but needed someone to bounce questions off and learn what she was missing. John P. was the perfect choice for us. He started by finding out what she knew and then got her caught up in the areas that she was unsure about. She picked him from his bio and told me later she made the correct choice. The amount of time she saved by not trying to teach herself was worth everything with her busy schedule. He is always friendly, encouraging and so knowledgeable which is just what we needed. I highly recommend John P. and will continue to use him in the future!

Congratulations on your acceptance into Stanford University!

John is thorough and explains everything very well. He is patient, comes on time, and can be

contacted with no problems. My daughter understands everything after his explanations, therefore

I highly recommend John.

John is a great tutor. Since he started tutoring my son, my son's grades have improved a lot. Sessions with John give him a deeper understanding of the course material. John's instructions and explanations make the material easy to understand. John always has a positive attitude and is very patient. I highly recommend him.

My son was having difficulty keeping up in Physics C AP. John has been very helpful in getting him up to speed and increasing his confidence in the material after just a few lessons. Thanks John! I'm sure he will be of more help as we approach midterms and eventually the AP test.

Congratulations on your acceptance into a very prestigious university!

John has been helping my 13 year old get ready for the the math portion of a test. He is very patient, able to teach and communicate well and so far is doing a great job!!

Congratulations on your acceptance into Bergen Academies.

John is an excellent tutor. He thoroughly knows the material and does not have to re-teach himself each session like most tutors and therefore is able to cover large amounts of material in each session. He helps my son in Honors level courses at a competitive high school and utilizes both print and online sources to teach. John understands complicated material and is able to explain it well. I highly recommend John.

John was a positive result of looking for a tutor on line. He is an amazing tutor helps you a lot and makes the subject understandable. I strongly recommend him.

Congratulations on your acceptance into Columbia University!!

John tailored a personalized plan of study for my daughter that took into consideration all areas that needed learning or reviewing. He was patient, professional, always well prepared with a lot of study materials. John was very flexible with scheduling study sessions. The result was a great score that my daughter got on her SAT math test.

Congratulations on your acceptance into a prestigious college!

Speaking from the perspective of a 1-sided verbal test taker - John P. is the best math tutor I have ever had. He comes to sessions prepared, full of materials, and is ready to answer any question you may have. John is able to tailor his program to any need you may have - from standardized tests to regular semester courses - with great ease and professionalism. He is easy to reach via cell phone or text message, and is able to work with almost any schedule the student may need accommodated. If you are 13 or 30 and need some help in tackling math or science, John P. is the first and only accessory you will need for success. Plus he can write upside down!!!

Congratulations on your acceptance into a very prestigious Business School!

Mr. P was an outstanding resource to have while preparing for the MCAT. His first-hand knowledge of the nuances and intricacies of this exam were invaluable when determining what concepts were important to focus on and what details were unnecessary to remember. Mr P.'s comprehensive understanding of chemistry and physics were especially noteworthy, as it enabled him to break down many difficult topics into more manageable pieces of information with accompanying strategies on how to understand certain theories and implement a variety of formulae. Although Mr. P. has a very busy schedule, he was able to accommodate two to three lessons per week, and was flexible when it came to meeting times. Combined with his friendly disposition and the ability to write and draw diagrams upside-down, I would highly recommend Mr. P. as your next tutor.

I am a college student at MSU and John has been so helpful getting me through everything from Chemistry to Intro to research. I am usually a C- student when it comes to Statistics and Chemistry but with Johns help I have been getting B+'s and A's on all of my assignments and Exams! He is very flexible and is always welling to work with my crazy class schedule. John can write upside down and if I have a hard time understanding the concepts he will come up with ways for me to clearly understand what I am learning. I highly recommend John as a tutor!

Congratulations on your graduation with honors!

Mr. P. has been my daughter tutor's for a year now. We use him for many of my daughter's tough science subjects, like AP physics, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus BC. We felt very lucky to find such high quality teacher online.

He is versatile, has good knowledge on many science subjects. We like his teaching style. He is often able to pin point the root of a problem and work with the student step by step to clear up the confusion. He also provides students with many source of information and often draws graphs to assist the teaching which my daughter finds very helpful.

Mr. P. usually responds quickly, easy to reach by phone.

Congratulations for being accepted into Columbia University!

John P. is a great Biology tutor. I am preparing for the Higher Biology level IB exam and I'm having great help from John P. The course material is college level and he is explaining it to me with great patience and knowledge of the subject. Can't recommend anyone better!

I'm very happy with John. He's very patient with my son, thoroughly explained all the questions and made chemistry easier to understand. My son has shown improvements on his grade and tests! I would recommend him to everyone.

Congratulations on your acceptance into a very prestigious college!

John and I began tutoring for only two lessons now and I feel I have come a long way in the direction I am headed to pre-algebra math. John is skilled at tutoring a difficult subject that always gave me an academic problem for over fifty years. John follows my strengths and weaknesses until I am strong and confident enough to progress to the next topic in the curriculum. John is concerned that I work towards my goal in math and he is there to help me understand how to do it. He drills me like a drill sergeant during the lesson and gives much home-work to practice. I would highly suggest that another person, young or older, who is looking for an "effective " tutor give John a chance to help you, and it will work.

My son has been tutored numerous times by John. He thinks that John has a very effective method of communicating math concepts. I will be requesting John for all my son's future math tutoring needs.

Congratulations on your acceptance into a very prestigious university!

Congratulations on your graduation!

I can not say enough good things about John as a tutor. We have been, perhaps, one of the stranger families that a tutor has had to deal with. My daughter (11th grade) is in Eastern Europe and having trouble understanding her math teacher. John works with her through Skype with not very good internet and, for the first few weeks, without a textbook. Yet, he has completely changed her perspective on math, helping her with topics such as mathematical induction, complex numbers, and transformations between rectangular and polar forms. Before she was uneasy about math which was affecting her whole outlook on school. Now she knows that with John's help she'll be able to understand the work and excel at it. That makes all of school seem better. Thank you, John.

Congratulations on your acceptance into Stanford University!

John was a good fit for my daughter, who already is an excellent student. She really needed someone who could tweak her test-taking skills to optimize her score. After the first lesson, John already made specific suggestions to help her.

Congratulations on your acceptance into a prestigious university!

John is the best tutor around! He shows everything step by step and always knows how to explain things so you understand the material right away. He is also very patient and flexible. I have had other tutors but none that teach as well as John! I highly recommend John for chemistry and math related subjects!

Congratulations on your acceptance into Columbia University Graduate School!!

John was excellent and very accommodating. Most importantly, he knows the material and was able to help my daughter get her top grade!

Congratulations on your acceptance into Princeton University!

Over the years, my children have worked with several tutors in different subjects. I must say that John is head and shoulders above all of them. John has been working with one of my children on their pre-calculas and AP stats work. I have been very impressed with how he is able to identify the main issue and using different approaches help them understand it and how to consistently get to the answer themselves. The result has been and very impressive improvement in his grades and confidence in learing new material. Further, John never raises his voice or uses intimidation as some others do.

I cannot recommend John more highly. You can not get a better tutor.

Congratulations on your acceptance into a very prestigious college! Best of luck on your future studies!

John has been tutoring me for physics for the past semester and without him I would be totally lost in the class! John is very patient and does an excellent job explaining difficult topics. John definitely makes physics easier to understand. He is also always available to answer questions or fit in an extra tutoring session. I look forward to working with John next semester.

Congratulations on your acceptance into medical school!

Since I have hired John, I have made tremendous progress in my Algebra class after a very rocky start of the semester. My professor does not explain the material thoroughly and moves rather quickly, adding John to my academic profile has not only got me caught up but has moved me to the front of the class academically. He explains the material to rival my professor and explains the work in a an easy to understand way although the material can be tedious and complicated. This was a good choice and money well spent for me.

My first tutoring session with John was a great experience. I haven't taken a math course in some time and he was very helpful with breaking things down and explaining them, so I can hopefully get them correct the next time around! After my session with John, I feel confident that I will be fully prepared for my GRE exam.

Mr. P helped me prepare for my SAT Is and IIs. He's a great tutor, very attentive, and he can write upside down for the convenience of the pupil. He helped me get the scores I needed to gain acceptance into my preferred universities. You'd be nuts not to hire him.

Congratulations on your acceptance into McGill University!!

John helped me get through a Statistics class. At the beginning I had basically zero knowledge of statistics, but John was incredibly patient with me. He explained the terminology and steps to answer and complete statistics questions and SPSS outputs. Additionally, he was very willing and able to answer questions and was also accessible and flexible with his time. By the end of the class, which I successfully completed, I felt more comfortable and even a level of confidence approaching the course content.

John has been working with Julia for a couple of weeks. He has a way of explaining the physics concepts so that she understands them, and her confidence has increased tremendously in this subject. We are very thankful to have found John as a tutor.

Congratulations on your acceptance into Georgetown!

John is very patient, dependable, and has a sense of humor that breaks up the craziness. I am very happy that John responded to my cry for help.
