Hi, I'm Erich. I'm a high school senior, actively involved in both the math and science Olympiad teams, and I also tutor incoming freshmen in Algebra I and II. Throughout high school, I've developed a strong passion for math, but I understand that it can sometimes be challenging to grasp at first. I believe that making mistakes is a natural part of the learning process. What's important is to learn from those mistakes and steadily improve. In my opinion, algebra is a foundational subject that plays a crucial role in preparing your kid for more advanced courses like Algebra II and Calculus. My goal is to break down algebra into simple, understandable concepts so that it doesn’t feel overwhelming. I aim to guide your child through both the concepts as well as problems, going through the step-by-step process to ensure they fully understand and become proficient in algebra. I'm more than willing to provide your child with additional practice and work through problems with them until they feel confident and comfortable. It's natural not to fully grasp concepts on the first try—sometimes they do, and that’s great—but when topics become more complex, I'm here to ensure they don't feel discouraged. If your child needs extra help or practice, please don't hesitate to reach out. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a session.
