Hi! Thank you for stopping by! I love math and teaching! I've been working with kids for as long as I remember, from babysitting, teaching yoga to teaching in the classroom! With a passion for mathematics and a diverse background in economics, communication sciences, and marketing analytics, I am thrilled to tutor students from 5th to 12th grade and help adults pass the Math part of the Praxis exams.

My career path in marketing analytics has equipped me with the ability to solve complex business problems using mathematical applications, and I am excited to apply this expertise to help students excel in math. As a certified yoga teacher, I understand the importance of mental well-being and mindfulness in learning, and I am committed to creating a supportive and nurturing environment where students can feel confident about approaching any math problem they come across, even if math isn't your strongest subject.

I'm currently substitute teaching math classes in NJ middle / high schools and on the alternate route path to becoming a certified teacher. My dedication to empowering others, experience in the classroom and teaching Kids Yoga, makes me a a great candidate to work with anyone who wants to learn math in a fun, rekaxung abd engaging way!

My passion is making math fun and easy to understand, guiding students to those “aha!” moments that strengthen their number sense and core concepts. With experience teaching everything from 2nd-grade math to algebra, I know just what skills are essential in elementary school for future success in math. I also specialize in working with kids who struggle with focus and feel overwhelmed by numbers and word problems. Using proven systems and methods, I help them break down problems into manageable steps, stay engaged, and build confidence. My approach is very personalized to each child's abilities and way of thinking. I enjoy tutoring in math for 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. I help my students successfully pass the Math part of the Praxis with ease and on the first try. I customize lessons to each student's needs and help students figure out how to get the highest score through working out problems and process of elimination. I have patience and will explain the concept of a problem over and over, until my student understands how to apply it to similar problems. Highly Intelligent, Dynamic, and Caring Tutor

There are not enough stars to rate Elinor’s exceptional tutoring skills. I was given an assessment task as a prerequisite for an internship program. The assessment involved multiple tasks, including some marketing campaign analytical questions. Elinor was extremely helpful and very insightful in teaching me how to approach tasks. She’s very dynamic, patient, and truly cares about the students she gets to help.
