Hey! My name is Gabriel, I'm currently attending a vocational high school, and am currently planning to pursue a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering. From middle school, and until now, I've done well in math, and I hope to be able to help others improve their skills too! I've received an A+ (97/100) final grade in both Combined Algebra, or Algebra I and II, and Pre-calculus, and a 99 in AP Calculus A/B, plus a 5 on the AP Exam. Aside from this, I received a 780 score on the math portion of the SAT, and was presented with school awards for Algebra and Calculus A/B.
Aside from requiring good math skills for Mechanical Engineering, you also need physics! I've received an A- in both Physics I and AP Physics C: Mechanics, plus a 5 on the Mechanics AP test. I learn best by doing, so my tutoring will include collaborative practice problems, where students will be able to understand not just how to do problems, but also understand the concept behind them, to better apply their skills when facing more difficult problems.
In these classes, I've also had the opportunity to help fellow students. I've provided lots of clarification that has helped them understand, whether it be by doing practice problems or visually. If one method doesn't work, I'm always open to take a different approach; not all students learn the same way!
