I hold a B.A. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Engineering Management from Johns Hopkins University. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I’ve remained passionate about teaching and mentorship, especially in math, standardized test prep, and computer science. I’ve tutored Calculus II for two years at Johns Hopkins through the university’s academic support program, working with undergraduate students to deepen their conceptual understanding and improve their problem-solving skills.

Beyond college-level instruction, I’ve tutored middle and high school students for over a year at C2 Education, where I designed individualized lesson plans across a wide range of subjects including Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB/BC, and SAT Math. I’ve also supported students with college preparation, helping them improve test scores and build confidence ahead of application deadlines. My tutoring experience includes both one-on-one and small-group settings, with a flexible, student-centered approach that adapts to each learner’s pace and goals.

In addition to my teaching background, I’m an avid coder and full-stack developer with industry experience at companies like Google and Better Mortgage. I love helping students connect abstract mathematical or technical concepts to real-world applications, and I strive to make every session engaging, supportive, and results-driven.

I have extensive experience tutoring Algebra 1 and other math subjects across all grade levels. I currently tutor students in grades 3 through 12 at C2 Education, where I create individualized lesson plans to help students master core concepts and improve their performance in subjects ranging from elementary math to Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus. Additionally, I’ve tutored math at Johns Hopkins University, working with students in both academic and enrichment settings. My approach emphasizes clear explanations, step-by-step problem-solving, and building lasting confidence in foundational math skills. Whether a student is reviewing for an exam or building their skills throughout the year, I tailor each session to their needs and learning style.

I specialize in helping students build a strong foundation, prepare for exams, and gain confidence with challenging topics like logarithmic and exponential functions. I hold a B.A. in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University and have completed advanced college-level math courses including Calculus I–III, Linear Algebra, Probability & Statistics, and Discrete Mathematics. My academic background and tutoring experience allow me to explain concepts clearly and adapt my teaching approach to fit each student’s learning style.
Computer Science

Computer Science

I hold a B.A. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Engineering Management from Johns Hopkins University. I have professional experience as a software engineer at Google, as well as several years tutoring students in computer science concepts and programming languages like Python, Java, and JavaScript. I specialize in helping students build strong foundations in algorithms, data structures, and real-world application development. My approach focuses on breaking down complex topics into simple, approachable lessons tailored to each student’s needs.
JavaScript

JavaScript

I hold a B.A. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Engineering Management from Johns Hopkins. I’ve built real-world apps using JavaScript, React, and Node.js, including projects at Google and startups. I’ve also tutored JavaScript for several years, helping students understand core concepts like functions, objects, DOM manipulation, async code, and modern ES6+ syntax. My approach blends hands-on coding with conceptual clarity to make sure students truly understand how JavaScript works.
