I am a resident doctor with 13+ years tutoring experience and I want you to be successful.

With my credentials, I believe I would make a great tutor for you! In my decade of teaching, I boast a 95%+ pass rate as a result of my tutoring style, with over 55 lifetime clients. I primarily tutor USMLE Step 2 CK and Step 3 (Step 1 I can do but keep in mind I am years out of basic sciences and I am primarily clinical).

Most of my clients have gone on to some of the top programs at Yale, Columbia, Cornell, and Harvard. I can also teach writing (I am a published author myself) and I also review essays and applications. My goal is to teach you so incredibly well that you will no longer require a tutor.

I graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers then went on to St. George's University School of Medicine on a Chancellor's Scholarship and am now in my final year of residency at Penn State. I have received perfect scores on the SAT Math and subject tests. I am first author in multiple research journals and online articles. For my tutoring sessions in writing, my focus is on SAT Writing, high school writing assignments, and college dissertations/essays. My emphasis is on proper grammar usage, style, and effective communication.

I will be one-on-one with you, and we will constantly be in touch even when I am not having an active session with you. If you have a question at 3AM and you need help, I will be there to point you in the right direction.

In my youth I was ranked in the top 70 of male tennis players in my age group along the US Eastern Division. I was a USTA National Championship Team Tennis finalist in Tucson, AZ and the 1st Place winner of the Eastern Boys Single Division (PTC L3 and UPS). When taking tennis lessons from me, I will focus on form and consistency. When you are able to consistently make shots, you will develop the strength to make winners. I will be able to improve your serve as well as your overhead shots, lobs, and volleys. I have a LOT of tennis equipment I have invested thousands of dollars into that we will be able to use for your training.

I am currently a Family Medicine resident physician. My MCAT scores were extremely competitive and got me into medical school, and I am now a doctor thanks to my scores. (The MCATs were scored very different from now, but I can tell you my scores if you are interested.) I will be able to help you with the current MCAT as the questions have gotten more difficult and are closer in style to the USMLE exams (which I also tutor). I have successfully passed the USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CS and Step 2 CK examination with a score of 232. I am a Family Medicine physician in my last year of residency who has a lot of experience answering these styles of questions and will be able to walk you through my approach to answering UWorld questions. I will be able to go over difficult concepts highlighted in books such as First Aid, OnlineMedEd, and Sketchy.
