I always think that I’m born to be a teacher instead of a developer. I love helping others during my study and I’m good at using easy-to-understand language to explain professional terms and concepts and give efficient solutions to the problems. I’m patient and easy-going, willing to communicate with my students. I majored in Materials Science and Engineering and got my bachelor’s and two master’s degree on this, so my background knowledge should cover most of the general subjects even to some specific expertise, so I’m confident about math, test preparations and other science-related subjects. I prefer to design the perfect syllabus based on the specific student’s case with which I find will be more helpful than a fix plan for everyone.
I pursued my bachelor’s degree in China and had been among the top 5% of all student in the school of MSE for four years. I got a cumulative GPA equivalent to 3.87/4 and ranked 3 out of 150 when I graduated. I got my master degree in UConn (University of Connecticut) and spent one year their working as a Graduate Assistant. During the master’s years, I got A+ and A for many of the subjects and was among the best students in the entire department.
In the summer of 2015, I worked for one of the best test preparation agencies in China and lived there with the students in the dormitory to help them with the GRE Quantitative Test Preparation. I enjoyed that period of time. I received two week’s training and spent the whole vacation there. I was so glad to see that they made great progresses on their weak sides. I still kept in touch with many of the students then who have been successfully admitted to famous institutes in the US. They all think of my teaching method is easy-to-follow and efficient in improving their skills.
Wish you the best in your study!
