I received my Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Rutgers University(New Brunswick). In my years of successful tutoring, I have met a diverse group of students ranging from those who are excellent in Math to those who generally find Math difficult to learn. ACT Math

ACT Math

ACT Math is a part of a college readiness assessment test called ACT. I found the subject very similar to SAT Mathematics and for some students it is easier. It does not need much profound Mathematics knowledge required (equivalent to Algebra I) but as a factor to consider for University admittance, students should take it seriously.
Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I have been tutoring this subject for 4 years and I am approved to tutor this subject. I have a knowledge inside and out in this subject such that I can even help with different learning styles and how the concept works.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

Algebra 2 is a transitional course in high school level Mathematics from an elementary computational level to a bit more rigorous and profound conceptual level. Not only have I excelled in Algebra 2 class, but also from four years of tutoring experiences I have learned how to approach some students and how to explain in a way a student can fully understand.
Calculus

Calculus

Although I have a profound knowledge in Calculus, I would like to limit myself, only tutoring Calculus I and Calculus II or AP Calculus AB or AP Calculus BC. I cannot guarantee any Mathematics subject equal or higher than Calculus III (Multivariables Calculus) since I have not learned different approaching methods to different students who might have different learning styles.
Discrete Math

Discrete Math

Discrete Mathematics is essential in Mathematics and Computer Science. It consists more of proof based problems and logic proofs. I have taken this course at Rutgers University not only as Math course, but also as Computer Science course.
Geometry

Geometry

Geometry is one of the branches of Mathematics I found interesting. It deals with figures and their relations with sizes and properties. I have been tutoring students with difficulty in Geometry and they have been achieving greater results.
Prealgebra

Prealgebra

Students should learn how numbers and variables work, which will pave the way to greater success with further Math classes. As a Mathematics major with four years of tutoring experience, I am qualified to tutor for this particular subject.
Precalculus

Precalculus

One of the transitional introductory Math subjects to Calculus series, if a student is trying to major in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or Finance, a profound knowledge is a must. As a Mathematics major student and a tutor, I find it interesting to discuss and teach Precalculus.
SAT Math

SAT Math

Like ACT, SAT is a major factor in considering a student's college entrance. It is comprised with Mathematics knowledge and test taking strategy. Algebra 2 should be the lowest course taken to ace SAT Math part. I scored 800/800 in SAT Math part for which I am confident to help you/your child. I have students who tremendously improved from their previous results.
Trigonometry

Trigonometry

Trigonometry, as from my tutoring experience, it is a subject both includes Algebra 2 knowledge and Geometry knowledge(especially triangles). But, if knowing the main concept will cover two thirds of a subject. I have students who learned Trigonometry through Algebra 2 and SAT Math, I am proud to say I am very qualified to tutor this subject.
