I'm a neuroscientist with over 10 years of experience in science, research, and quantitative analysis. I earned my PhD in Neurobiology from Duke University, completed postdoctoral research at NYU School of Medicine, and have worked as an equity research analyst in an investment bank covering biotechnology companies.

I love helping students understand why concepts work - not just how to memorize them. As both a scientist and an industry professional, I bring real-world examples that make biology and math exciting and relevant. My experience publishing scientific research and communicating complex science and financial modeling to investors has taught me how to explain difficult concepts clearly and effectively. I have TA'd graduate level courses during my PhD and have tutored middle and high school students during my undergrad. I also teach music in my spare time.
